About me
Counselling adults, teenagers and children, I am a fully qualified Integrative Humanistic Counsellor offering a professional and confidential service in Horsmonden - serving the surrounding villages of Cranbrook, Staplehurst, Hawkhurst, Goudhurst, Tonbridge, and beyond.
I also have a Masters Degree in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy and much experience in working with both teenagers and young children, including 14 years' background in secondary and primary schools (including roles as a School Counsellor, Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor). I am fully insured and CRB checked. In addition to running a private practice and my current work within schools, I have worked for Cruse Bereavement Care and other charitable organisations, counselling clients of all ages.
Each of us experiences emotional difficulties or distress at some point in our life and sometimes this can leave us feeling anxious and overwhelmed. Counselling / psychotherapy involves talking through your problems with a trained therapist who can help you to make sense of your feelings, learn about your role in relationships, build confidence and self esteem, address issues from your past and find ways to make positive life changes.
