About me

Mr Shoakazemi is a UK trained consultant neurosurgeon and skull base surgeon. He completed FRCS (Neurosurgery) in 2014. He completed the prestigious Manchester skull base surgery fellowship in addition to fellowship training in North America.

He is sub specialised in Cranial neurosurgery. He has an interest in skull base surgery, Brain tumours, pituitary surgery, vestibular schwannoma, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, trigeminal neuralgia and other cranial procedures.

Additionally, he treats patients with back pain, degenerative spine and disc disease, hydrocephalus. He utilises a multidisciplinary approach to brain tumours at London Independent Hospital to achieve the best results.

He is currently working as a substantive consultant neurosurgeon at Queen"s Hospital where he is an active member of skull base surgery and neuro oncology multidisciplinary team. He is also appointed as Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer and Module Lead for Neurosciences at the Queen Mary University of London.

He has extensively published in peer review high impact neurosurgical journals.
