About me
I trained in haematology at Royal Marsden, Hammersmith and Addenbrookes hospitals. I was appointed as Consultant Haematologist at Mount VernonHospital/University College Hospital in 1997 and moved in Feb 1998 to take on the post of Consultant Haematologist at University Hospital Birmingham. Since then the haemato-oncology/stem cell transplant programme has grown, with consultant numbers increasing from 1 to 10 and transplant numbers increasing from 49 to 325.
