I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital, St Richards Hospital, Southlands Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Gini is a Consultant in Ophthalmology with University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trusts. He also has a vibrant private practice both in the UK as well as abroad.
Mr Gini has extensive experience in the main fields of ophthalmic surgery including complex cataract surgery, glaucoma and retina with over 30.000 procedures carried out to this day. He is an internationally recognised clinician, surgeon and educator. He is considered one of the pioneers in vitreo-retina surgery. In the course of his career he has received over 200 international awards for surgical excellence among which the Treacher Collins Award from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, the coveted Reis-Buckler Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists (twice) and the Italian Society of Ophthalmology Award (twice). He is currently the President of the European Vitreo-Retinal Society, Liaison Officer to Europe for the American Society of Retina Specialists and Board Member of the Italian Association of Ophthalmogists. He is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Maimonides University as wells Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology at Yale University.
