About me

I have 25 years extensive experience working with both groups and individuals of all ages. I have worked in the voluntary NHS and private practice.


I can provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore difficult feelings and personal information, a place where you feel listened to, where you can be yourself, In your own time and at your own pace.
I work as an integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist using the Psychodynamic and Person-Centred and Humanistic models; This is tailored to each client's individual needs. We focus on the here and now in trying to understand where you find yourself today, this could be a particular issue or to just explore and make sense of your current thoughts and feelings. We may start with a specific issue but can then open up into a deeper exploration by making links between different areas of your life, usually early childhood. My aim as a therapist would be focused on helping you to make the desired changes in order to gain greater awareness of your own potential and the psychological blocks that get in the way of you achieving this.

I offer both long term and short term therapy.
Sessions are 50-Minutes and usually on a weekly Basis.

During our first appointment we can talk about what brings you to Counselling and what you would like to achieve. I may ask you to give me some background information on life history, this gives me some in sight as to what appropriate therapeutic approach best suits your needs
