Dr Singh Alg qualified from Bart's & The London School of Medicine in 2009, and undertook Geriatric and General Medicine postgraduate training in the Oxford Deanery before gaining CCT in 2018.
He has a Masters in Medical Education and has been involved in the education of medical students from Oxford University and currently at City St George's University, London. He is a Senior Lecturer and T Year Medicine Core Speciality Lead at St George's Medical School, London.
He published work in prestigious medical journals and has presented at multiple conferences throughout the world. He is also the author of a chapter in a book on ethics in medicine and social care.
Dr Singh Alg has a keen interest in equality and diversity, and has previously been involved in meetings/forums with both the GMC and the BMA.
