About me

Dr Anne Griguer is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist, with expertise in all fields of cardiology and specialist interests in heart function, heart valve disease, cardiovascular prevention and cardiac imaging, including echocardiography (heart ultrasounds), exercise tests, and cardiac CT scans.

She started her training in France, working for 10 years at the University Hospitals of Lille, Paris and Marseille, including in world's top 100 and France's top 3 Hospital (CHRU Lille). She undertook advanced training at the highly specialised cardiac imaging and heart valve unit of St Philibert Hospital (Lille), before moving to London.
She joined the echocardiography department at Hammersmith Hospital and undertook her Cardiac CT training from experts at Guy's Hospital.
She worked as the Lead Heart Failure consultant at West Herts Hospitals NHS trust.

Dr Griguer's practice is supported by a solid scientific background. She holds an MsC and a PhD in cardiology. She conducted research projects at Imperial College London (on diabetes cardiomyopathy), Diderot University Paris and GHICL Lille (on exercise echocardiography and aortic stenosis).

Her experience with multiple healthcare systems allows her to combine the best of different approaches and deliver tailored and holistic care to every patient. She is keen to involve her patients in the decision-making, taking time to explain the disease, treatment, and how to manage the risks through a healthy lifestyle.
