About me
With extensive experience in counselling, I support clients facing a wide range of personal and professional challenges. My aim is to reduce the impact of difficulties on wellbeing, minimise sickness and absence, and facilitate a successful return to work where needed. At the initial assessment, I explore what each client wishes to gain from therapy and encourage them to consider what a positive outcome would look like if they were to leave the process feeling fully satisfied.
The issues I work with commonly include work-related stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, bullying, low self-esteem, and challenges around confidence and assertiveness. Clients also frequently present with health-related concerns and other overwhelming difficulties that can significantly affect daily life.
I recognise that counselling is often sought during the most difficult periods, and I am committed to providing effective, professional support at these times. My approach focuses on helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that influence their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Through this process, clients are equipped with practical tools and strategies to improve their quality of life and to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
A strong therapeutic relationship is central to my practice. I offer a professional, discreet, and supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable, safe, and able to share openly.
Every client is unique, and I tailor my approach to suit individual needs. Professional help is availableand no one needs to face these challenges alone.
