About me
I have been a consultant in Gastroenterology over 20 years. I have a great deal of experience investigating and treating gastrointestinal conditions. I qualified from University of Sheffield and underwent my training at Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.
I enjoy talking to patients and try to solve their medical problems.
Areas of interest
Gastrointestinal diseases such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease(IBD); Irritable Bowel Syndrome; diarrhoea and abdominal pain; investigations of stomach and bowel cancer;
I carry out many therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures: gastroscopy; colonoscopy and ERCP.
I also investigate and treat Liver conditions including abnormal liver function tests; non viral
hepatitis and jaundice.
