About me
I am a consultant haematologist at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital. I graduated from the University of Cambridge and undertook my postgraduate haematology specialty training at King’s College Hospital, London.
I care for patients with all haemato-oncological conditions, with a special interest in myeloid malignancies. I am passionate about improving treatments for haematological cancers and am involved in many ongoing clinical research trials in East Kent. I am also a member of the National Cancer Research Institute Myelodysplastic Syndrome Group. From a medical education point of view, I am a clinical lecturer for the University of Kent and I am involved in the training of junior doctors.
In addition to managing the medical aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment, I strongly believe in mutual partnership with patients. I believe in holistic care by supporting patients mentally and emotionally throughout their treatment.
Areas of interest
Leukaemias; Lymphomas; Myelomas; Myelodysplastic Syndromes; Myeloproliferative Neoplasms
