About me

I am a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at the Spire Manchester Hospital. I am also an Honorary Clinical Professor at Edge Hill University.

As a Consultant ENT Surgeon for over 20 years, I led a busy clinical service at the University ENT Department at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, where I was awarded two national NHS Clinical Excellence Awards. After retiring from the NHS in 2021, I continue to see patients with a wide range of ear, nose & throat conditions in my private practice at Spire Manchester Hospital. I always aim to give my patients a balanced view about their best treatment options based on my experience.

I teach and lecture about this field of surgery in the UK and Internationally. I am past President of both the Section of Laryngology & Rhinology of the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Facial Plastic Surgery Society. I am also a Trustee of the British Rhinological society.
