I specialise in the management of hip and knee arthritis as well as sports related injuries of the lower limb. Within my NHS practice I cover the generality of trauma as part of my on call commitment as well as subspecialty management of hip fractures and infections and fractures around joint replacements.
I am the Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee at Mid Cheshire Hospitals as well as being a member of the regional Grosvenor Club and Cheshire and Mersey Prosthetic Joint Infection Group. I collate and submit outcome data on revision surgery for our unit regionally.
I have embraced enhanced recovery following joint replacement to make your operation and recovery as smooth as possible. I have honed my joint replacement skills completing high volume subspecialty fellowships in Canada and Exeter from 2012 - 2014. I complete NJR data fro all joint replacements performed and am open about my outcomes.
I am happy to assess and provide opinion for patients in whom surgery has not had the desired outcome.
