About me
Hello I'm Patrick. I'm an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Oxford. Whilst my clinical training was broad, over the years I have developed specialties in a few key areas, specifically anxiety, depression, trauma and chronic illness.
I worked previously in the NHS for a number of years across a range of community and inpatient mental health teams. I also have experience working with young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties, such as ADHD, and those on the autism spectrum.
The depth and breadth of my training allows me to draw on a number of models of CBT, alongside other ‘third wave’ cognitive therapies, and I am flexible in adapting these to the client.
I look forward to meeting you.
Qualifications: BA (Hons), MSc, DClinPsy (Oxon.), Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (C.Psychol), HCPC Registered Psychologist (PYL 33540)
