About me

Dr Richard Cooke is a consultant cardiologist who has worked in the NHS since 1985 and was appointed and has practiced as a consultant cardiologist to Guy's and St Thomas' and East Kent NHS Trust since 1996.
Dr Cooke trained in cardiology at Guy's and St Thomas' and has been on the specialist register for cardiology since 1995. He is trained in all aspects of general cardiology and has a specialist interest in invasive and interventional cardiology.
He was involved in the early development and is one of the leaders and main proponents of transradial angioplasty.
