About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and have worked within the NHS since 1995 and private practice since 2006.

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2000 from University College London and have since worked within adult and older adult mental health and physical health services.

In 2004, I qualified as a Systemic Psychotherapist which is sometimes called a Family Therapist. I also am an Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and have completed the training for Attachment Focused EMDR.

I am registered with HPCP and the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and with UKCP and the Association of Family Therapy as a registered Systemic Psychotherapist.

Currently my NHS work is within a local acute hospital, developing services. leading a team of psychologists and clinically working with people who have a physical condition. This work is with people from 16 years old and above.

Over the past 12 years I have specialised in working with people with physical health conditions, trauma related to physical health conditions or related treatment and issues connected to health.

Within my private work, I have a passion for working with people of all ages to help them adapt to the challenges that life brings. When I meet people, we have a conversation about how to understand what is happening and then consider if my approach would fit with what they are looking for.
