I am a consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and Lead Breast Surgeon at the University Hospital Lewisham. I am also a Senior Lecturer at GKT school of medicine, University of London.
I work privately at London Bridge Hospital.

I graduated from Cairo University and received my postgraduate surgical training in the UK. I had my Breast surgical training at the prestigious and world renowned academic Breast unit at Guy’s hospital. I was then appointed as a Consultant there and joined a multidisciplinary team of highly specialised oncologist delivering modern, world class and personalised patient’s centred care.

I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of various Breast societies. I was awarded my doctorate degree in the field of Breast diseases from the University of London. In addition I have many publications in the field. I maintain my knowledge and expertise through involvement in active research programs, lecturing in conferences and sitting on advisory committees.

I have over 30 years of experience treating all aspects of breast diseases, benign and malignant, both in women and men. I have a special interest in breast cancer prevention, reconstructive / oncoplastic breast cancer surgery and familial / inheritable breast cancer. I developed, along with a specialised team, a unique multidisciplinary service for women with raised breast cancer risk and gene carriers.

I run One-Stop Breast clinics at London Bridge hospital in The Shard Outpatients centre, 4 days a week, supported by specialised radiologists, pathologists and Breast Care Nurses; delivering rapid diagnosis and treatment plans.

I speak both English and Arabic fluently.

I am passionate about my work, providing a very tailored service to each patient.
