About me

BA Hons (Applied Psychology and Criminology), MSc (Psychology), PGDip (Primary Mental Healthcare), PGDip (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EMDR (including level 3 complex trauma)

I am a BABCP accredited therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I always work with the person first rather than the diagnosis, and I believe it is key to help you understand how your experiences have contributed to your difficulties.

I am creative in my practice and often integrate third wave approaches such as ACT into the evidence-based approaches of CBT and EMDR.

A large proportion of my work is trauma focused, supporting people in processing difficult experiences so they can function better in the here and now. This includes traumas impacting upon self-esteem, anxiety, low mood, and other related difficulties.
