I have been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in UK working both at the NHS and privately for over 30 years.
I am an Honorary Associate Professor in University College London (UCL) for many years and have been involved in teaching and training of trainees and undergraduate and postgraduate students.
I have been awarded a PhD Degree from UCL in 2007, following a thesis on 'Articular Cartilage Repair in the Knee Joint'.

My research interests are related to sport injuries, Performing Arts Medicine and Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand conditions.
I recently published an article on 'Upper Limb Compartment Syndrome' at the British Medical Journal.
I also participate in Safety and Quality Improvements Projects in the NHS; the current QI project is related to Cauda Equina Syndrome and Pack Pain.
I regularly exercise and spend time with my wife and our 4 children.
I enjoy attending musical events and I regularly go to theatre and art exhibitions.
