About me
I am consultant gynecologist working at Queen's Hospital with more than twenty years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After working in challenging conditions in India and Nepal I came to UK and trained in sought after London deanery. My area of expertise is acute gynecology and early pregnancy, recurrent miscarriages,gynae scanning, hysterosopic surgery. I run dedicated specialised vulvar clinic where I assess and treat wide range of vulval condition. I treat period problems,fibroids, polycystic ovaries, post menopausal symptoms, prolapse and patients having difficulty in getting pregnant. I have busy NHS practice at Queen's Hospital. My motto is patients first and I keep the patient in center of everything that I do so my treatment is tailor made for all individual patients.
Areas of interest
My special interest is managing cases with recurrent miscarriage and help them achieve normal pregnancy and take baby home. I offer 2D as well as 3D vaginal scanning. I do laparoscopic surgery for treatment of ovarian cyst, mild to moderate endometriosis, polycystic ovary, chronic pelvic pain, sterilization and salpingectomy. I do all hysteroscopic surgery outpatient as well as inpatient including TCRF, resection of septum, polypectomy, novasure ablation and myosure procedure. I do smear tests, colposcopy, LLETZ procedure and vulvoscopy and vulval biopsies. I do hysterectomy, myomectomy, cervical cerclage and labiaplasty in cases where indicated. I offer outpatient surgical management of miscarriage with MVA. I try to offer a practical and sensible approach to gynaecological problems and issues, and I do not like to offer unnecessary investigations or procedures.
