About me
I am a senior accredited integrative counsellor, trained in the relational approach and utilising different therapeutic ideas and approaches to best suit the needs of each client. For example; this may include aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psycho-education, coaching or mindfulness. I can help clients to recognise patterns in how they relate to themselves, others and the world around them and how this is based on primary relationships with our caregivers. I am calm, creative, relaxed and spontaneous. I enjoy making use of therapeutic writing, art, and sensory / play items as appropriate to age, development and interests. I believe that working together collaboratively, the therapeutic relationship offers clients (and therapist!) a different relational experience, new insights and opportunities which can bring about deep healing and understanding.
