About me
Dr Vidyarthi is a Consultant Psychiatrist based in Leeds.
He qualified as a medical doctor in 2001 and has been a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2008.
His qualifications include MB BS, DCP, and MRCPsych UK.
Following graduation (MB BS), Dr Vidyarthi completed his core psychiatry training through the Royal Free Hospital Training Scheme in London, before undertaking Higher Specialist Training in Psychiatry in Leeds. He obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry, with an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry.
Dr Vidyarthi has over 25 years' experience as a doctor and more than 12 years' experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist. He currently works as an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist in Leeds, alongside his private practice.

He aims to provide thorough, evidence-based assessments and works collaboratively with patients to develop clear, individualised treatment plans. Where appropriate, this may include medication, psychological therapies, and liaison with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
