About me
Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Nightingale Breast Unit, , one of the largest Breast Unit in the UK and one of the busiest Breast Screening Centre. Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester. The Nightingale Breast Unit is internationally recognised Centre of excellence.
It rained initially in Breast Surgery at Guys Hospital Breast Unit, London and completed the training in Canadaat London Regionsl Cancer Centre/ University of Western Ontario.
Upon return too the UK I took up my first Consultant Surgeon in the prestigious Edinburgh Breast Unit for 14 months.
In March 1996 I took up the post of Substantive Consultant Breast Surgeon at Salford Royal (Hope) Hospital. I have been fortunate to work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team & together we built an excellent Breast Unit in collaboration with our Colleagues at the Christie Hodpital. Our Breast Team was awarded the “OSCAR” by Salford GPs assigned to Excellent Secondary Service.
In April 2017 Salford Breast Unit merged with The Nightingale Breast Unit when we joined an excellent Professional Colleagues with the advantage of great facilities.
Over the last 24 years I have gained a vast experience in management of Breast Diseases Working within a dedicated
Multidisciplinary Team snd providing “Patient Focused” Service under National and International Guidelines.
