About me
Kirsty Harris is an experienced Physiotherapist who has worked in various different settings since qualifying from The University of Huddersfield with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Degree in 2005.
She began her career working within NHS hospitals rotating between working on wards and within out-patient departments.
With a strong bias towards Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Kirsty specialised and progressed in this area through senior NHS Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy posts becoming an Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner with an extended scope of practice in 2011.
On leaving the NHS in 2014 she continued to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy working as a Senior Physiotherapist for the Ministry of Defence within residential rehabilitation, outpatient departments and multidisciplinary assessment clinics.
In addition to her NHS and MOD roles, Kirsty has also maintained a strong interest in acute sports injuries. She has worked as Lead Physiotherapist for Amateur and Regional Academy Squads providing pitch-side cover and injury management to both teams. These roles developed both her interest and expertise in managing sports injuries.
Kirsty is qualified to use Acupuncture, Injection Therapy, Mobilisation & Manipulation, Pilates, Shockwave Therapy and Taping alongside her more general Physiotherapy skills.
Kirsty trained to teach Pilates with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI); A World-leading provider of Physiotherapy and Pilates Education.
Kirsty is located in Wantage and predominantly assesses and treats Bupa patients at Revolution Sports Injuries Clinic in Grove Business Park and at The Faringdon Clinic in Faringdon,
