About me
Kirsty Harris is a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist, specialising in Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Rehabilitation. Since qualifying with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Huddersfield in 2005, she has built a wealth of experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors.
Kirsty began her career in NHS hospitals in South Wales, working across ward-based and outpatient settings before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She progressed into senior roles within the NHS, developing advanced skills in treating orthopaedic, sports, and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
In 2011, Kirsty joined the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner, working closely with Orthopaedic Consultants to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients. In 2014, she transitioned fully into the private sector, continuing her specialism while working as a Senior Physiotherapist for the Ministry of Defence, supporting military personnel in residential rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary assessment centres.
Alongside her clinical roles, Kirsty has a long-standing passion for sports injury management. She has been Lead Physiotherapist for a local rugby team and worked with the U16s Regional Academy Squad, providing pitch-side care, injury assessments, and tailored rehabilitation programmes.
She is fully qualified in a range of advanced physiotherapy techniques, including:
