About me

Mr Haliasos completed his medical studies at the University of Rome in 2001 with magna cum laude distinction. He then continued his research studies in the USA with a scholarship in John’s Hopkins Medical School. Mr Haliasos trained as neurosurgeon at the prestigious north Thames rotation in London. He subspecialised in neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery and facial pain. He has been the recipient of academic grants doing research on active problems of his field while he has authored a number of peer-reviewed publications.
Mr Haliasos has been a consultant neurosurgeon since 2013 and his areas of interest are brain tumours, facial pain, movement disorders, spinal pathologies and hydrocephalus. His career mission is to understand patient needs and offer them solutions to their problems

Management of neck pain, back pain;
Special interest in arm pains and leg pains (sciatica) surgical and non-surgical;
Special interest in facial pains (trigeminal neuralgia) and peripheral nerves;
Brain tumours;
Normal pressure hydrocephalus related to cognitive disorders;
