About me
Gerry has een a general ENT Consultant at Wirral University Teaching Hospital Trust and at Spire Murrayfield since 1994. He is a general adult and paediatric ENT Consultant with an interest in Rhinology and Otology and Snoring.
Gerry qualified from University College Cork Ireland in 1982. He completed Specialist training in Liverpool Merseyside before taking up his Consultant post at Arrowe Park/Clatterbridge and Murrayfield Hospitals
As well as his busy Surgical Practice he has been in Medical Management from the start of his Consultant career. He has been Lead ENT Surgeon, Clinical Director of Special Surgery as well as Chair of Medical Board and Clinical Head of the Division of Surgery. He is presently Chief Medical Information Officer, a role that involves moving Medical Workflows completely into the digital domain. Wirral is a Global Digital Exemplar and at the cutting edge of digital Healthcare worldwide.
His outside interests include his allotment and antiques and photography.
