About me

I have worked in psychotherapy services in the NHS for 18 years with adults and young people with a wide variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties and mental health problems. I have worked exclusively as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist for eight years, having previously worked as a Mental Health Nurse Therapist and Psychotherapist for ten years.

​I trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience while working at the Maudsley Hospital in London, initially in a specialist psychotherapeutic day unit for people with a diagnosis of personality disorder then subsequently for the Family Therapy Service in the Psychotherapy Department at the Maudsley Hospital.​

I then worked in the Intensive Psychological Therapies Service at Lewisham Hospital before moving to Ipswich in 2014 to take on a role as a Family Therapist and Course Tutor developing family therapy in Suffolk.

I am a member of the Association for Family Therapy and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.

I am fully insured and have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
