About me
Jim Parry is an NHS Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
He graduated from Newcastle University with Merit in 2008 and completed his postgraduate training in the Northern deanery and the Central School of Anaesthesia in the London deanery. He also undertook a year-long fellowship in regional anaesthesia at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia in 2017.
His postgraduate qualifications include MRCP with the Royal College of Physicians 2011, FRCA with the Royal College of Anaesthetists 2014, MAcadMEd with the Academy of Medical Educators 2016, an MSc with distinction in Regional Anaesthesia at the University of East Anglia 2018 and FFICM with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine 2019.
His non-clinical interests include quality improvement and education. He has won prizes and presented and published his work nationally and internationally. He is also actively
involved with national research projects.
