About me
My name is Alain Li Ko Lun and I am an MSK and MMACP registered chartered physiotherapist. I originally trained as a professional dancer in London and New York obtaining a B.A.(Hons.) from Canterbury University in contemporary dance and worked as a performer for various musicals in the West-end (Lion King, King and I amongst others), TV shows in the UK and abroad for many years. I subsequently completed an MSc in Sports Science, a P.G. Diploma in Psychology, a BSc(Hons.) in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at King’s College London. As a physiotherapist I have worked at the Maudsley hospital, King’s college hospital, SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), Loughborough University Rugby club and Warner Bros Studios for the cast of CATS the movie. I am a dedicated musculoskeletal physiotherapist and have worked with people from all walks of life from professional and world class athletes (Rugby players, GB Triathletes and GB Hockey), professional dancers (Principals and soloists from the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, New York City Ballet, Wayne McGregor company, Akram Khan Dance company in London and on Tour) to major film stars. I treat all my patients with equal care and dedication.
I am also trained as a personal trainer and in Acupuncture, Sports Massage, Spinal Manipulation and Sonography and I continue to enhance my knowledge and skills for the benefit of my patients.
