PHYSIOTHERAPY HOME VISITS

THERAPYXIS is a bespoke physiotherapy service that specialises in physiotherapy home visits and care home services that meet the client's needs directly.

We currently cover the whole of Essex, Suffolk and London.

Extensive practice in covering areas such as:
• Neurorehabilitation (post-stroke, central and peripheral conditions and injuries of the nervous system)
• Orthopaedics and post surgery
• Care of the Elderly Rehabilitation
• MSK
• Therapeutic massage

How we can support you or a family member:
Individual Assessment and Therapy Programmes to improve:
• Sit to stand and Immediate standing and Transfers from bed, armchair, wheelchair, toilet, commode, car
• Re positioning in lying (bed) and sitting (armchair and/or wheelchair)
• Upper limb and lower limb function
Gait Assessment and Gait re-education
Individual exercise programmes with specific therapy led SMART goals.
Postural Assessments
• Lying, Sitting, Standing
• Individual recommendations with the option of providing photographs of the client in the correct supported position(s), to help support nursing staff and healthcare assistants.
Personalised Serial Seating Plans to build up sitting tolerance and for energy conservation management
