About me

I can provide an assessment, diagnosis and management plan which may help a patient to decide on medication and/or what psychological therapy would suit. I believe in a holistic approach to an individual within the framework of a warm and caring professional relationship.

I have over 30 years experience working as a doctor in NHS Psychiatry. I am a a Consultant Psychiatrist for over 20 years. I work now in Private Practice. I am recognised as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Psychotherapist by the Royal College of Psychiatrists I have Accreditation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the lead organization for CBT, the BABCP, (British Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapists).
