About me

I am a Consultant Physician and researcher in diabetes and metabolic health. I work at St Mary's hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and affiliated with the world-renowned Imperial College London, where I have an active research portfolio.

I trained in metabolic medicine and am a specialist in all forms of diabetes and metabolic health. I undertake out-patient clinics for people with Type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and rare forms of diabetes, including genetic forms.

I also lead a service for people with unusual or atypical presentations of diabetes and help to work out the cause and best treatment and also people with unusual causes of hypoglycaemia.

Whatever form of diabetes you have, I can work with you to support your diabetes self-management, utilise diabetes technologies and access other members of the specialist team, thinking not just about your glucose levels but also your overall cardiovascular health and the best treatment options for you.
