About me

I am a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 19 years' experience working across NHS mental health and forensic services. I have also worked in academia as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Forensic Psychology, training others to become psychologists.

I offer psychological assessment and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, and more complex or long-standing problems.

My approach is formulation-driven, meaning we work to develop a clear, shared understanding of what is maintaining the difficulty, before focusing on targeted, evidence-based intervention. Though I mainly draw CBT, ACT and trauma-informed models, my approach to therapy is best tought of as intergrative.

I have particular experience working with complex or treatment-resistant presentations, including where previous therapy has not been helpful.

I offer appointments both in person and remotely (via secure video).

I am currently accepting new clients, with typical waiting times of around 4 to 6 weeks.
