About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with over twenty years of experience supporting adults and couples in London (Canary Wharf, E14) and online.
I trained initially in Italy and then completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London (UCL). Since qualifying, I have continued to deepen my expertise with advanced training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and other evidence-based approaches, honouring the complexity of human experience and mental wellbeing.
I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and difficulties with eating or body image. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each client's needs.
Primarily, I work within the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, integrating specialized approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). These approaches support clients in understanding their thoughts and emotions, managing distress, and cultivating self-compassion.
Alongside CBT, I use EMDR and Brainspotting, neuroprocessing techniques that help resolve trauma, reduce the emotional impact of difficult experiences, and shift deeply ingrained patterns of stress, avoidance, or emotional reactivity. Mindfulness-based strategies are also used to support emotional regulation, focus, and overall wellbeing.
In therapy, we explore how past experiences, current stressors, and relational patterns influence your wellbeing. Together we work to reduce distress, develop healthier coping strategies, and foster meaningful, long-lasting change in thinking, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
I see clients in person in Canary Wharf (London E14) and online across the UK. Sessions are confidential, compassionate, and tailored to each person's goals. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, or emotional eating, therapy provides a safe space to gain insight, build skills, and create meaningful change.
