About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Banstead with over twenty years experience working with families, children, and young people. I work within the NHS as well as in private practice. I am able to use a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), EMDR, solution focussed therapy, compassion focussed therapy and counselling to support adults, children, young people and families with a range of emotional and behaviour difficulties, these include depression and low mood, anxiety and panic, OCD, trauma, low self esteem, pregnancy and becoming a parent, adapting to difficult life events including divorce, bullying, bereavement and loss, pre school and school based difficulties, behaviour difficulties associated with ADHD and Autism, parenting advice and family and relationship issues.

I have extensive experience of psychological assessment both for planning therapeutic interventions, and psychometric assessments to inform health, education and social services of children's needs including assessing for Neurodevelopmental disorders of Autism and ADHD . I am an experienced supervisor and trainer offering supervision to colleagues working therapeutically and training supervision as part of Anna Freud IPT training programs.
