About me
I specialise in helping my clients to develop resilience to work-related issues and mental, emotional or performance challenges.
I primarily offer remote therapy via Zoom or by phone (telehealth) because my clients prefer the flexibility this offers (for example, they often prefer to access sessions from the comfort of their own homes or whilst walking outdoors).
My availability is currently limited to mornings before 11am.
My approach encourages anyone to embrace 'Mental Fitness' through consistent lifestyle and behaviour change, appropriate to the challenges they are facing.
I have a particular interest in ADHD and executive functioning issues.
In my experience, it is possible for anyone to move past unhelpful cycles of behaviour or psychological pain, and improve their experience of work and everyday life.
Working together, we can start to build new psychological, lifestyle and communication skills. These can help you to overcome mental health and behavioural issues. At work this often helpd to find purpose and direction, achieve goals and navigate life's challenges more effectively.
When you use less energy fighting yourself, you can experience a happier and more meaningful life and career along with better overall mental and physical health.
Areas of interest
I use an integrated approach to help my clients develop Psychological Resilience (or Mental Fitness). This help with issues such as: Burnout; Work-related stress; Anxiety; Acute Stress Reaction; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD); Adjustment Disorder; Behavioural Addictions (such as excessive gambling, porn, internet, phone, substance use), ADHD-related confidence and work performance issues.
I adapt my approach as appropriate on a person-by-person basis, to include elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Positive Psychology; Coaching Psychology; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Motivational Interviewing (MI); Mindfulness based CBT and other therapeutic, compassion-based or coaching approaches.
