Consultant medical oncology who specialist in providing high quality cancer follow up for both women and man with colorectal ca and breast cancer .
Dr.Ash Alkhaldi is consultant specialise of colorectal and breast ca in Sheffield Teaching Hospital (Western Park cancer centre )and consultant oncologist at spire Leeds Hospital .Member of ESMO .
Participate of Research UK in Sheffield (Breast and colorectal ca ).
Dr.Alkhaldi specialises in medical treatment of cancers using the target ,supportive therapies ,chemotherapy and hormone therapy ..
The colorectal cancer drugs like Cetuximab ,Encorafenib + Cetuximab Plus or Minus Binimetinib, Bevacizumab(Avastin).
The Breast ca such as Biphoasphonate and the new target therapy trastuzumab(Herceptin ) Pertuzomab(Prejeta),trastuzumab emtansine(Kadcyla),Everolimus(Afinitor),Lapatinib(Tyvero),Bevacizumab(Avastin) as well CD4/6 inhibitor Palbocicilib,Ribocicilib and abemaciclib.
Modern treatment for Cancer requires the careful integration of diagnostic procedure ,surgical treatment ,and medical therapies with chemotherapy ,target therapies, endocrine therapy and Radiotherapy .
This is brought about through a multidisciplinary team approach where pathologist ,radiologist,surgeons and specialist nurses meet on regular basis to consider the diagnosis and optimal treatment for individual patients.
Dr.Alkhaldi is a member of the multidisciplinary team for colorectal and breast cancer at midyorkshire Trust .
