About me
As a BACP accredited and registered Counsellor I have worked for over 20 years with adults, families, and young people/children. I am also an Approved Adoption Counsellor working with people affected by all aspects of adoption.
I am caring, approachable and able to listen and empathise. I will explore with you, your thoughts, feelings and behaviours - working collaboratively with you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your situation. Through counselling, sharing worries, concerns, hopes and fears can enable people to address difficulties, develop their inner resources and find alternative ways of coping.
Over the years, I have worked with all kinds of issues including anxiety, low mood/depression, stress, family relationships, confidence/self-esteem, loss, bereavement and abuse. I practice integrative counselling, combining various counselling approaches working with the past and the present focussing on each person as a unique individual, helping them to feel stronger and more empowered.
I offer short, long term and time limited counselling sessions depending on your wishes and needs.
