About me

Mr Davda is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in all aspects of foot and ankle disorders. He is a Consultant at Wycombe General and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals, both part of the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust. His private practice is based at the BMI Chiltern and Shelburne Hospitals, Buckinghamshire.

He trained on the North West Thames Orthopaedic Programme, one of the most sought- after rotations in the country. He was based primarily at St. Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals, one of four Major Trauma Centres in London, working through all disciplines of Orthopaedics. He gained experience in foot and ankle reconstruction under the expertise of world renowned surgeons during his training at St.Mary’s Hospital and at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, an international centre of excellence and tertiary referral centre. He honed his skills further under the guidance of some of the countries finest surgeons on fellowship in Windsor, The Royal Surrey County and Frimley Hospitals and a year at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. As a result, Mr Davda has a broad foot and ankle practice. He sees patients with various conditions including arthritis, sports injuries, diabetic feet, childhood conditions and all aspects of trauma.

Mr Davda has published in high impact Orthopaedic journals and presented at international meetings throughout his career. He successfully completed a postgraduate thesis in computer assisted surgery as a research fellow at Imperial College under the supervision of Professor Justin Cobb, Chair of Orthopaedics and Surgeon to the Royal Family, and Professor Alister Hart, a world expert in hip resurfacing and tribology.

He is a keen teacher and regularly lectures, training surgeons on the consultant FRCS exam courses, as well as foot and ankle society seminars. He is an undergraduate tutor to medical students at both Oxford University and honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Buckingham.

Mr Davda is a member of a regional group of foot and ankle surgeons that meet regularly to discuss complex and difficult cases, ensuring the best possible opinions regarding options in treatment and management can be sought.

He is father to two energetic children, enjoys regular fitness, is an avid cook and a keen reader of fiction.
