About me
Mr Ricardo Mohammed-Ali is an internationally recognised expert in facial reconstructive surgery. His NHS practice is based at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Mohammed-Ali is qualified in both medicine and dentistry and has done his basic oral & maxillofacial surgery training at Guy’s, St Thomas’ and Kings College Hospital in London, the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. His higher oral & maxillofacial surgical training was based at the Sheffield Teaching Hospital, Rotherham and Chesterfield Hospitals, Derby Royal Hospital and Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
Mr Mohammed-Ali is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Following the completion of his higher specialist training, Mr Mohammed-Ali completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Cosmetic Surgery.

Mr Mohammed-Ali treats challenging and complex cases that includes high profile athletes, post traumatic & post cancer surgery deformities and revision surgery after complications.
Mr Mohammed-Ali is a member of the Joint Facial Plastics and Palsy clinic at the Sheffield Teaching Hospital. He also takes part in the Joint Orthognathic in Sheffield & Barnsley and is a member of the local skin cancer MDT at Barnsley Hospital.
Mr Mohammed-Ali has multiple peer review publications and has several national and international presentations on Oral & Maxillofacial surgery.
