About me
I qualified from Westminster Hospital Medical School and trained in ophthalmology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, North Yorkshire Senior Registrar Specialist Training rotation and Moorfields Eye Hospital, with Fellowships in Paediatric Ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.
I have been instrumental in setting up the South West Thames clinical network for ophthalmology, was a founding member and first secretary of the Association of Ophthalmologists and am a member of the Working Party on Non-Accidental Injury for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
I also actively contribute to research groups in paediatric ophthalmology on the field of retinal dystrophies and ocular congenital malformations.
I have previously been President of the Southern Ophthalmological Society and previous council member.
