About me

Mr Andrew Mukherjee is a Laparoscopic Surgeon and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He gained his medical degree at University College London. He is a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons and The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He gained specialist training in teaching hospitals in London. He has advanced training in both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery for complex conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pain and irregular bleeding.
He has advanced training in infertility and has completed a Subfertility and Assisted Reproduction fellowship in London. He offers investigation and treatment of the infertile couple using assisted reproductive treatments such as IUI, IVF or ICSI. He has special interests in endometriosis, recurrent miscarriage and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Mr Mukherjee has advanced skills in gynaecological scanning. He offers ultrasound assessment of the pelvis in early pregnancy, chronic pelvic pain and infertility. He offers HyCoSy as an alternative to HSG in the assessment of tubal patency.
He also leads a one stop clinic in the assessment of postmenopausal bleeding.
He is an RCOG College Tutor which means he plays a key role in ongoing O&G training and education.
