About me

Julieann Gillitt, the Osteopath Clapham, has worked in the area of physical therapy for almost 30 years.

She originally trained at the British School of Osteopathy and the Osteopathic Centre for Children, attaining a Masters in osteopathy and a Postgraduate in paediatric osteopathy, respectively. She subsequently became a tutor and lecturer at the Osteopathic Centre for Children.

Other training has included that in the area of: structural analysis, posture and rehabilitation via the ProSport Academy; cranial osteopathy at the Sutherland Cranial College: biodynamic osteopathy through the association of Traditional Osteopathic Studies; visceral osteopathy with the Barral Institute; and women's peri- and post-partum health via the Mummy MOT, physio network.

Julieann offers a wide variety of treatments to all sections of the community including: newborns; children; pregnant and post-partum women; office workers; sports people and those with neurodevelopmental needs.

Specialisms include: structural and postural analysis and the treatment of all manner of life, occupational and sports related ills; newborn check ups; the assessment and non-interventional treatment of latching issues including tongue tie; the assessment and non-interventional treatment of other paediatric presentations including plagiocephaly, birth-related trauma, digestive issues and retained primitive reflexes; and the Epley manoeuvre for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo..
