About me
About me
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming like it's just too much to carry on your own. You might be looking for some space to breathe, to reflect, or to make sense of what's going on. That's what therapy can offer.
I have been supporting people through many of life's challenges from many years from anxiety and low self-esteem to relationship issues, trauma, and grief. She works with both individuals and couples, creating a space that's confidential, supportive, and without judgment.
My approach is integrative, which means she draws from different therapeutic models mainly person-centred and psychoanalytic depending on what feels most helpful for you. I also offer EMDR for trauma, and have specialist training in couples counselling from the Tavistock Centre.
More than anything, I believe in the power of a good therapeutic relationship. Feeling heard, understood, and accepted can be the starting point for real change Sahar
EMDR, Trauma & PTSD
I bring extensive experience in working with trauma, having worked with refugees and individuals affected by war and conflict. My compassionate and skilled approach to trauma therapyespecially through EMDRcreates a safe space for healing, no matter the size or nature of your experience. Whether you're dealing with longstanding PTSD or a recent emotional wound, I welcome you with empathy and professionalism, guiding you toward greater peace and resilience.
How I Works with Couples
In couples counselling, Sahar begins with a structured three-session assessment: one joint session followed by individual sessions with each partner. From there, she tailors a six-session therapeutic format designed to address key relational challenges. This cycle may be sufficient on its own or can be renewed for ongoing support, helping couples reconnect, resolve conflict, and build a stronger, healthier partnership.
Whether you're facing something specific or just have a sense that things aren't quite right, you're welcome to reach out.
