About me

I have over 17 years’ of experience working within the NHS and privately. As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist I have provided leadership as the Trust-wide Lead for Psychological Services and Clinical Lead for Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services in the NHS.

My real passion is clinical work and I offer assessment and treatment to children, young people and adults. My approach is very collaborative, sharing my formulation and understanding of the difficulties with the client, following assessment and as they develop throughout the work. I focus on putting the client’s needs first, adapting my approach to provide the best outcomes for the individual. I am able to offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mentalization Based Therapy, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy both individually and in groups for a wide range of difficulties (e.g. anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, Complex trauma, etc.). My particular areas of specialty include trauma and attachment/relational difficulties.
