About me
About Me
I am a qualified, accredited, and experienced psychotherapist, committed to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore whatever is troubling you. Reaching out for support can be difficult, but it's a meaningful and important first step toward change and healing.
We all face challenges in life. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or distressed, therapy offers the opportunity to make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
People come to me for many reasons, including:
Anxiety (general, social, health, or panic-related)
Depression and low mood
Relationship issues or break-ups
Trauma and abuse (including sexual or emotional)
Bereavement and loss
Work-related stress
Low self-esteem or confidence
Obsessive thoughts and behaviours
Phobias or unresolved past experiences
Together, we can explore the issues you're facing and find ways to manage your difficulties and challenges, for example, in relationships, and having difficult thoughts and feelings and other emotional difficulties, so you can live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Areas of interest
I am an experienced, accredited psychotherapist with many years of working with adults in both NHS mental health services and private practice.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, tailored to each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to explore unhelpful thoughts and behaviours; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to address past experiences affecting the present; and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) to work through relationship difficulties.
I also bring years of management experience in Canada and the UK, which informs my work with workplace stress, performance anxiety, conflict, burnout, career transitions, and work-life balance.
I understand how professional challenges can impact personal life and offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore these issues and support meaningful, lasting change.
