I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at KIMS Hospital Limited, Spire Alexandra Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Christopher Jenkins is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the BMI Somerfield Hospital in Maidstone. After qualifying from St. Thomas’s Hospital in 1984, he trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, St Thomas’s Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital (part of St Mary’s Hospital) London. In 1991, he was appointed a Registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital from where he obtained a Fulbright scholarship to study in the USA, at the Ivy League universities of Columbia and subsequently Cornel in New York. He was reappointed as a Senior Registrar to Moorfields Eye Hospital where he remained until his appointment as a consultant to Maidstone in 1997. He runs clinics specialising in cornea and external disease, cataract and glaucoma at Maidstone. He also runs intravitreal injection clinics for macular degeneration and diabetic macular oedema.
