About me
I work with clients experiencing a range of emotional issues including chronic and accute anxiety, work related stress, depression, post traumatic stress,trauma, phobias, domestic abuse and control, narcissistic abuse,postpartum depression, childhood abuse, loss and bereavement and relationship difficulties. I also with with neurodiversity.
I have 14 years counselling experience, drawing on a range of approaches which include: tranactional anaylsis, cognitive behavioural therapy, person centred therapy and Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and trauma therapy
I offer adult clients both brief and longer term counselling working closely with clients to enable them to work towards achieving their own personal goals.
I offer face to face counselling, video conferencing via zoom and structured telephone calls. my office base is in Sketty, Swansea with parking within a 5 minute walk and frequent bus services.
Areas of interest
Anxiety, depression, stress,postpartum depression, Domestic abuse and coercive control;Low self esteem and confidence; Panic Attacks; Phobias; Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); Bereavement; Relationship problems; Affairs and betrayals.
I have an interest in working with adult children of narcissistic parents/complex family relationships exploring boundary setting within these relationships and the impact on clients in the present .
I have completed training and work with adults neurodiversity/ Autism spectrum disorder, or ASD and ADHD as well as training in trauma, grief and loss.
