About me

Ruth is a consultant clinical psychologist and has extensive experience of NHS and independent sector work.

Ruth is dedicated to finding the right therapeutic approach for each person and their situation.

Ruth has completed specialist post-doctoral training in Cogntive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Alongside working with a range of anxiety and low mood presentations, Ruth has a specialist interest in helping people to adjust following signifiant life events or experiences.
