About us
Ruth completed her undergraduate Psychology degree at Newcastle University in 2002 and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Glasgow University in 2006. She works part time in the NHS as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and has specialist experience working with children, young people, adults and families in lifespan health care settings.
Ruth has undertaken post-doctoral training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Ruth is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
