About me
I am an enthusiastic and committed Specialist Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in the NHS with children, young people, families and adults struggling with a range of difficulties across a variety of settings (including working in schools).
I draw upon a range of therapeutic models during assessment and therapeutic work, depending on the individuals' presenting needs and preferences. These include CBT and behavioural therapy, attachment and play based approaches, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy and systemic approaches.
I am experienced in supporting individuals across the lifespan to overcome a range of difficulties including: anxiety, specific phobias, stress, anger, low mood, low self -esteem, trauma, adjusting to changes in circumstances (e.g. changes at home), sleep problems, OCD, behavioural difficulties, social difficulties (e.g. problems making or keeping friends, issues with bullying), parenting difficulties, relationship difficulties, developmental delays or concerns, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and cognitive assessments (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC).
